Going With The Flow

How many times in recent weeks have you heard people use the phrase "the new normal?" We are all adjusting to changes. Indeed there have been some BIG changes in our world in recent months, but if we look back through the years can we actually find a period of time where the lifestyle or culture of the day did not move at a rapid pace? It is so important to be able to go with the flow and be prepared to adjust as life gets crazy.
Even as it pertains to our physical health and wellness, changes are inevitable. I am expecting my 4th child, and with each pregnancy and baby that came along, my body and daily routine underwent a transformation. Rarely was it comfortable, but I am so thankful for the ways God has grown me and changed me.
Whatever stage you're in-- young adult, middle aged, entering or in the middle of menopause, whatever--adjustments need to be made not only to schedules and priorities, but ways we care for our bodies. Exercise looks different for everyone, but we are all capable of doing something within our abilities and limitations. Let's go with the flow, and if you need guidance on how to do that, it would be my pleasure to assist! Keep hope and stay the course, no matter how rough and choppy the waves.
